Morality simply cannot, absolutely must not, be
decided by jurors to allow them to impose laws that do not exist. Prosecutors
simply cannot, absolutely must not, be allowed to have discretion to make
anything and everything a crime when it offends the prosecutor's moral
standard. But; This is the current environment of our current system of
justice. The prosecutor then conspires with the Judge to hide evidence,
fabricate evidence, twist everything to manipulate the jury so they feel a
"moral standard" has been violated. Whatever moral standard you choose to
advocate in your church is fine. You, and your Church members, can work to
elect legislators that will pass laws that are consistent with your moral
standards. However; the jurors can then choose to NOT impose the law in a
case. The Judge MUST impose the law in all cases with the exception of when
he is overruled by the jury. The only exception to overrule by the Jury is
the Rights, Privileges, Immunities of the Individual in the Constitutions
which simply cannot, ever, be denied to any individual regardless of how "bad"
others may believe or feel that person is.
"Morality", or a moral standard, is a very
personal thing. We can try our best to develop a universal standard that we
all follow. But there will always be differences of opinion. That is why
we MUST have freedom of religion. Otherwise you will find yourself the slave
of a King and Church who will impose a very self-serving moral standard on
you. One that you will find is not agreeable to any but the small ruling class
of Nobles and bureacrats that benefit from it. One that you will detest.
I liked what you said about the necessity of a
hierarchy and priorities necessary for any standard to be valid. You are right
that the vast majority of people in this nation now longer understand what
freedom is. What I am trying to do with my website, and with what I learn from
you and others, is find the best way to present it so that they will
understand. Those that want to enslave us have been attacking freedom for a
long time by associating freedom with "lack of a moral standard", with
anarchy, etc. They have basically associated freedom with sin in the minds of
most. While at the same time they have used the same advertising and
propaganda technics to associate submission to slavery with security, with
submission making a person "responsible", "civilized", a "good American". We
have to turn this around so that people understand that the slavemasters are
the anarchist. We, that promote freedom (liberty) are the ones that want
a order with a meaningful moral standard applicable to all, including the
President, Attorney General, National Security Advisor, Judges, Lawyers, etc.
Jesus gave respect to the 10 commandments of
Moses. But; In my humble opinion, replaced them with the only 2 we need.
First; Love God (which means believe God does exist) and, Second; Love your
fellow humans (which means Equality). The moral problem I see today is that
we have given Judges the power of God. They are not. They are humans who are
motivated by an insatiable desire for money and/or power. It is why they
became Lawyers, and then Judges, in the first place.
