What is LIBERTY?

LIBERTY is the RIGHT of the INDIVIDUAL (a HUMAN Person) to have the PROTECTION of the LAW.

NOTE the word 'PROTECTION'. Law is to PROTECT.

Government, by and through its Actors, has a strong tendency to use Law inappropriately. They use it to OPPRESS and to PLUNDER people. The very opposite of its intended purpose for existence here on this Land.

The FIRST function of Law is to PROTECT people (as Individuals) from Government, and from Government Actors - aka 'Public Servants' - who violate the Law, intentionally or negligently.

This is NOT about OTHER governments in OTHER lands (countries). LIBERTY is LAW that protects you HERE, on THIS land, in THIS country, known as the United States of America. Demagogs often try to divert your attention to foreign lands so that you, and your countrymen, will not see the LIBERTY they have taken from you.

Law may restrain individuals, but the Law of this Land, known as the United States, makes clear that Law is BINDING on Public Servants (aka Actors and Agents of Government). [see Supremacy Clause, Art. VI, US Constitution]

Actors and Agents of government are those employed by WE THE PEOPLE. They are employed by US if they accept compensation from our Treasury. They might be elected, appointed, hired, or contracted with. But they are our SERVANTS, and are NOT our MASTERS. They serve us by complying with the LAW. They have a DUTY to know the Law, and cannot (legally, or properly) claim ignorance of the Law as their excuse. But they often do, and derelict Judges aid and abet them. Learn from this site so you will not be another one of their many, many, victims.

WE THE PEOPLE govern them, our Servants, through our LAWS beginning with the FIRST law of our Land - known as the Declaration of Independence, enacted by unanimous vote of our representatives in the first Congress of a New Country, and ratified by a Blood Sacrifice to God known as the Revolutionary War - and by the Law made in pursuance thereof know as the Constitution for the United States of America.
